Upside Names Megan Wagner Vice President of Partner Operations
The operations leader, who spent four years launching health plan benefit programs at Peerfit, joins Upside to own the stretch between a signed contract and a working program.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Upside, a nationally scalable housing stability platform purpose-built for healthcare, today announced that Megan Wagner has joined the company as Vice President of Partner Operations. Wagner brings deep experience implementing supplemental benefit programs for health plans across Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, D-SNP, and self-funded employer populations. She will lead partnership implementations from sales handoff through launch, with oversight of contract terms, partner KPIs, and program performance.
Wagner joins as Upside expands its work with health plans and employers addressing housing instability. A signed contract is not a working program. Getting one live takes referral pathways, data exchange, staffing in market, and agreement on what will be measured — and every one of those decisions shapes what members actually experience months later. Wagner owns that stretch, and she will build the cross-functional process that makes each launch cleaner than the one before it.
“Megan finds the gap before anyone else sees it, and then she closes it,” said Peter Badgley, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Upside. “That is exactly what implementation work demands. Our partners are trusting us with members who do not have time for a slow launch. Megan makes sure they do not get one.”
Before joining Upside, Wagner spent nearly four years at Peerfit, the fitness and wellness benefit platform, where she rose from project manager to Director of Move Solutions and served as acting Senior Vice President of Peerfit Move. There she owned implementation and ongoing relationship management for the full Peerfit Move portfolio, working directly with health plan clients across multiple markets and serving as the company’s subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement products. Earlier in her career, Wagner spent five years at lululemon as an assistant manager leading operations, culture, and community, where she built hiring, training, and scheduling programs adopted at the corporate level. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and product design from The Art Institutes.
“Somebody has to turn a signed contract into a program that actually runs, and that has always been my favorite part of the job,” said Megan Wagner, Vice President of Partner Operations of Upside. “I care about getting things done on time. I care more about getting them done right. What makes this one different is who is waiting on the other end of a launch — a member who needs somewhere to live and cannot sit around while we sort ourselves out.”
Wagner’s appointment reflects Upside’s continued investment in the operational discipline behind its partnerships. As more health plans turn to housing as a lever for better outcomes and lower cost, Upside is building the depth to meet them — helping members solve housing problems to completion so the lease gets signed and the ER visits stop.
About Upside

Upside is a housing stability platform that brings all three — partnering with health plans and employers to find members and employees facing housing instability and work the problem to completion. Dedicated Care Guides, housing specialists trained in behavioral health engagement, own each case from first call to signed lease, supported by AI-assisted housing orchestration built to make them faster, not replace them. Upside serves Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, commercial, and employer-sponsored populations across the full housing continuum, from crisis to long-term tenancy support. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
